My name is Brian Jacobs and I am a clinical hypnotherapist, hypnotherapy trainer, and master practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).
I have been trained by some of the best in the world. For NLP I was trained by Paul McKenna (the UK's foremost hypnotist) and Dr. Richard Bandler (the creator of NLP). For hypnotherapy I was initially trained by Valerie Austin (author of many hypnotherapy books, including Self Hypnosis) before training with leading American hypnotherapists Gil Boyne, Jerry Kein and Cal Banyan.
I have also been trained in Thought Field Therapy (TFT) as discovered and developed by Dr Roger Callahan and as used by Paul McKenna. TFT is best described as a natural, drug-free, non-invasive system to eliminate the cause of negative emotions.
I am a member of the British National Register of Advanced Hypnotherapists, the General Hypnotherapy Register, The Hypnotherapy Association, and the National Guild of Hypnotists (USA). I have been awarded the Senior Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice (SQHP) from the General Hypnotherapy Register. I am a Board Certified hypnotist and a Certified Instructor of Hypnotherapy.
I have been in full time practice as a hypnotherapist for over 11 years. I utilise hypnosis in the treatment of smoking cessation, weight loss, stress management, anxiety conditions and phobias(eg stage fright, public speaking, food aversion, fear of flying, motorway driving) as well as helping clients improve their self-esteem and gain more motivation and confidence. In addition to my North London hypnotherapy practice I also run hypnotherapy trainingcourses in London three times a year.
I was featured on Living TV’s documentary series Harley Street helping one of my many clients kick the smoking habit.
I have also recorded a video demonstrating the hypnotic induction and hypnosis testing.
